Q1.What documents do I need to rent a car in Malaysia?
You will need: a valid Malaysian MyKad or passport, a valid driving licence (Malaysian or international), and a valid credit or debit card for the security deposit. Foreign visitors must hold a driving licence from their home country plus an International Driving Permit (IDP) if their licence is not in English or Malay.
Q2.Is a security deposit required?
Yes. A refundable security deposit ranging from RM 200 to RM 1,000 is required depending on the vehicle category. The deposit is fully refunded upon return of the vehicle in its original condition, less any applicable charges.
Q3.Do you offer car delivery and collection?
Yes. We offer free delivery and collection within Subang Jaya and USJ. Delivery to Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, and other Klang Valley areas is available at a small fee. Airport delivery to KLIA and klia2 is also available.
Q4.What is the minimum rental period?
Our minimum rental period is 1 day (24 hours). We do not currently offer hourly rentals. For monthly rentals, the minimum engagement is 30 days.
Q5.Is insurance included in the rental price?
Yes. Comprehensive insurance is included in all rental rates. This covers accident, fire, and theft. Third-party liability is also included as standard. Optional add-ons like Personal Accident Insurance and CDW excess waiver are available on request.
Q6.Can I drive outstation or travel to Singapore?
Outstation travel within Peninsular Malaysia is generally permitted — please inform us in advance. Travel to Singapore, Sabah, and Sarawak requires prior written approval and may incur an additional charge. Kindly WhatsApp us before booking for outstation requests.
Q7.What happens if the car breaks down during my rental?
Contact us immediately via WhatsApp or phone. All rentals include standard roadside assistance — we will coordinate towing or a replacement vehicle depending on the situation. Upgrading to Roadside Assistance Plus guarantees a priority response within 60 minutes.
Q8.Can I use an international or foreign driving licence?
Yes, provided your foreign licence is valid and accompanied by an International Driving Permit (IDP). Licences issued in English are generally accepted without an IDP. We recommend confirming with us before booking if you hold a non-English licence.
